FM Nurtleu meets Chinese Ambassador Zhang Xiao, who is completing his mission in Kazakhstan

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs  Murat Nurtleu has received today Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhang Xiao on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Foreign Ministry’s press service.

Murat Nurtleu highly praised the level of the Kazakh-Chinese cooperation, highlighting the Chinese diplomat’s contribution to the development of the eternal comprehensive strategic partnership based on unshakable ties of friendship and good-neighborly relations.

In turn, the Chinese Ambassador thanked the Kazakh side for constant support provided during his mission in Kazakhstan and said that working in our country was a great responsibility and honor for him.

The sides spoke on the prospects for further strengthening the political dialogue and trade-economic cooperation, and emphasized the progress of cultural-humanitarian events, which have become a strong bridge of friendship between the two nations. 

On the margins of the 31st meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA), Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu met with the heads of foreign ministries of Armenia, Austria, Cyprus,  and EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The talks focused on the priority issues of bilateral cooperation on deepening political dialogue, increasing mutual trade and developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
