Flooding alert issued in S Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Committee for emergencies of the Internal Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued a flooding alert in South Kazakhstan region.
"Due to heavy precipitation, flooding may occur in some areas of South Kazakhstan region on January 3-4," the committee's statement reads.
