Flood warning issued for southern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Emergencies Committee of the Kazakh Internal Affairs Ministry has issued flood alert for Almaty, Zhambyl and South Kazakhstan regions.
“Due to heavy rainfall forecast in Almaty, Zhambyl and South Kazakhstan regions, flood generation is expected on some rivers on June 22,” a statement reads.
