Flashmob to celebrate the 1st year of getting the status of EXPO host city held in Astana
ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM - Last weekend a dance flashmob took place in Astana in “Khan Shatyr” mall - “One year after the victory” to celebrate the year since Astana got the status of EXPO host city, astana.kz informs.
“November 22, 2012 is an important date for independent Kazakhstan. On that day a new page in the history of the capital was opened - 103 countries voted for Astana’s application as the venue for the International exhibition “EXPO-2017”, it is reported in the message.
The flashmob was supported by approximately 300 people: students of the Kazakh Agrotechnical university named after S. Seifullin, ENU named after L. N. Gumilev, dancers and usual residents and guests of the capital.
“Holding of such exhibition as EXPO in Astana will further assist to activation of the youth, growth of creative energy of young people, and contribute to development of the country”, it is reported in the message.
