Flame of Asian Games travels now around Ust-Kamenogorsk
UST-KAMENOGORSK. January 25. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ The Flame of the Asian Games travels now in the streets of Ust-Kamenogorsk on route from the stadium 'Vostok' to the Republic Square. 60 torch bearers are involved in the relay in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The Flame of the Games was delivered to the city by a special flight yesterday evening. It was welcomed by local sportsmen, authority and citizens of the region. The keepers of the Flame delivered it to the regional office of the National Bank yesterday. Today a new stage of the torch relay started. Governor of East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev was the first one to carry the torch during this stage of the relay.
The torch bearers will carry the Flame along the banks of the Irtysh and Ulba rivers. This stage of the relay will finish at the Sports Palace named after Boris Alexandrov where the concert is to be held after the finish of the relay.
