Five injured in overnight clashes in Lebanon's Tripoli

BEIRUT. June 3. KAZINFORM Sporadic clashes erupted overnight Friday between the neighborhoods of Sunni Jabal Mohsen and mostly Alawite Bab al-Tebbaneh in Lebanon's northern port city of Tripoli, leaving five injured, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
Sniper fire was still heard in the area Saturday morning, the report said.
Tripoli has recently been the scene of deadly sectarian violence linked to the unrest sweeping neighboring Syria.
