First Deputy Prime Minister Sagintayev visited Almaty region
ASTANA. April 5. KAZINFORM First Deputy Prime Minister -Minister of Regional Development of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev made a working trip to Almaty region on Thursday.
He started his working trip with a visit to Akeshke water reservoir, where checked flood preparedness. There was organized round the clock monitoring of water inflow in all major reservoirs and rivers. Flood hazard road sections, bridges and power transmission towers were brought under control. Special exercises and training of the population are held, primeminister.kz reports.
At the enterprise "Zheruyik-Taldykorgan" Bakytzhan Sagintayev got familiarized with horticultural crops production technology.
Afterwards, the Vice Premier arrived in Tekeli town, where he visited several industrial enterprises. Tekeli is included in the list of Kazakhstan's single-industry towns, which get financing under the Program on Single-Industry Towns Development until 2020. Sagintayev also visited an entrepreneurship support center.
In Taldykorgan the Deputy Prime Minister surveyed the progress of reconstruction of a runway at the airport, and visited a residential part of the town, where it is planned to build twelve residential estates, including five under the program "Affordable Housing 2020".
In addition, Sagintayev held a meeting with farmers to discuss the issues connected with the use of agricultural land.
In the Ili district Sagintayev examined the construction of satellite cities Almaty "G-4 City", as well as the highway construction projects Almaty-Kapshagai and Big Almaty Ring Road.
In the Karasai district the Deputy Prime Minister visited the plant for the production of soft drinks JV "Coca-Cola Almaty Bottlers", where he held a meeting with businessmen of the region.
Besides, B.Sagintayev acquainted with the construction of residential complex "Assyl-Arman", and visited the headquarters of construction of residential complex "Premiere".
Following the visit the First Vice Premier charged akimat of Almaty region to take measures to complete the construction of the residential complex "Premiere" in the first half of the year. In addition, the akimat was instructed to conduct an orderly work in the region to improve the stability of hydraulic structures and bank protection.
