ATYRAU. September 16. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ Start of the first crude production at the Kashagan field in Kazakhstan's sector of the Caspian Sea by is not to be rescheduled.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev who visited the artificial island D at the Kashagan field in the Caspian Sea has said it within his working visit to Atyrau region.
"We're on the eve of getting the first oil in late 2012. Then oil will flow to the Bolashak plant. 50 million tons of oil per year will be mined at the first stage," the Head of State stated.
