Fire sweeps 600 ha of forest steppe in Karaganda rgn

ASTANA. August 12. KAZINFORM More than 600 ha of forest steppe was swept by a fire in Karaganda region, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry's press service.
The fire occurred on Saturday (August 11) in Karaganda region and covered the area of 607 ha. No casualties have been reported, the rescuers confirm.
The fire was liquidated at 3:05 a.m. by a fire crew of Karaganda region.
