Fire rips through forest in Pavlodar region

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Firefighters are battling a blaze in the forest in the Pavlodar region, Kazinform has learnt from the regional emergencies department.
The fire started Friday afternoon at 16:30 p.m. in Galkinsky forestry. About 250-300 hectares of forest had burned and firefighters were still working to control the blaze as of 5 a.m. local time. No casualties were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
