Fire engulfs three floors of residential compound in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A residential compound went on fire in Astana on Saturday, according to 24.kz TV channel.
The fire started at around 18:00 pm at the Sem Bochek residential compound on the left bank. The witnesses say the fire quickly engulfed a balcony on the 7th floor and then spread to the 9th floor. The firefighters dispatched to the scene battled the blaze for a couple of hours. According to the TV channel, no one was evacuated or hurt. It is still unclear what caused the fire.
