Financing of education sector made 4.1% of GDP in Kazakhstan in 2010 - B.Zhumagulov

ASTANA. January 19. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The volume of financing in the education sphere made up 4.1 percent of the GDP in Kazakhstan in 2010. Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov has announced it at the enlarged session of the board of the Ministry with participation of Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
"The volume of financing in the education sphere increased by KZT 51 bln and reached KZT 777 bln, and makes 4.1 percent of the GDP. The Ministry's budget made KZT 234 bln, budget utilization - 98.5 percent. It is higher than in 2009", B.Zhumagulov said.
