Finance Ministry to ban placing budget funds on deposits of second-tier banks by quasi-public entities

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakh Ministry of Finance plans to open in the Treasury bodies control cash accounts to account for operations with transfer of budget investment, Minister Bolat Zhamishev told a board meeting of his ministry on Monday.
According to him, this measure involves exclusion of placing budget funds on deposits of the second tier banks by quasi-public entities.
"We will use this provision when revising the current budget," Zhamishev added.
