Day 5 of the tournament will feature four group-stage matches as teams in Groups G and H begin their campaigns. In Group H, Spain will face Cape Verde at 9:00 pm Astana time. Later, Group G action gets underway with Belgium taking on Egypt at midnight.
The overnight schedule continues with Saudi Arabia meeting Uruguay in a Group H clash at 3:00 am, before Iran and New Zealand close out the day's action in Group G at 6:00 am Astana time.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico and will run through July 19.
