Fertilizer production projects received investment of KZT 350 bln
ASTANA. June 4. KAZINFORM This has been announced today at a meeting of the Government of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev.
"The project for the production of fertilizers ibeing implemented by " Eurochem" JSC will allow to increase by several times the amount of product manufactured in Kazakhstan and to significantly expand the product line," said Aset Isekeshev.
In his words, in 2014 there will be a launch of mining plant in Zhanatas with capacity of 600 thousand tons of phosphate per year. In 2016, also in this city, there will be a construction of chemical processing of raw materials. And in 2018 - a complex for manufacturing of mineral fertilizers in Karatau, with capacity of more than 1 million tons per year.
"Following the request of the President, the Ministry of Industry and New Technology conducted the work required to bring such a large investor. The total investment of over KZT 350 billion will create 3 thousand jobs during the construction period and 2 thousand jobs in the period of operation ", informed the Deputy Prime Minister.
