Ferroalloy plant to be built in Kyzylorda rgn

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In the framework of the development of metallurgical cluster in Kyzylorda region a new ferroalloy plant will be constructed, said the head of the region Krymbek Kusherbayev.
The project cost is estimated at KZT 44 billion. The plant will use the flux, generated after processing vanadium-containing ore from Balasauskandyk deposit. Therefore, the implementation of the ferroalloy plant will expand the ore base of the deposit. Kusherbayev informed that to build the new ferroalloy plant a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed by "Baikonur" NC Agricultural production cooperative" JSC, Ningxia Baota Petrochemical Technology Industrial Development Co., Ltd and Kyzylorda region administration.
