ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM The group stage match between FC Shakhter Karagandy and Maccabi Haifa FC of the UEFA Champions League at the Astana Arena Thursday ended in draw 2:2, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
The first-half goals by Andrey Finonchenko and then Yevgeny Tarasov of FC Shakhter Karagandy sent the away team down. After the break, however, the Israeli squad pulled themselves together and scored two goals securing a draw in Astana.
