Families of officers killed in Su-27 crash receive keys to new apartments

During the meeting the head of the region said that he was personally acquainted with the military unit commander Lieutenant Colonel Yerlan Nauanov and Lt. Col. Denis Gorbunov. During the conversation Amandyk Batalov congratulated the widows of the officers on the coming New Year and gave them the keys to the apartments. The widow of Yerlan Nauanov - Magripa Nauanova thanked the Akim of the region and the Akim of Taldykorgan Ermek Alpysov for their support. Lyubov Gorbunova was given a three-room apartment, and Magripa Naumanova received a five- room apartment. In addition, local executive authorities allocated 2 million tenge to each family. It bears to remind that September 23, 2014 Su-27 military aircraft disappeared from radars of Taldykorgan airbase carrying out training flights. There were two pilots onboard - Lieutenant Colonel Y. Nauanov and Lt. Col. D. Gorbunov. During search operations the crashed plane was discovered in Koksusky area, 15 km from the village Zhanalyk. Colonel Yerlan Nauanov and Lt. Col. Denis Gorbunov have been posthumously awarded II degree "Aibyn" orders.
