Extreme heat alert issued in Almaty region

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Committee for emergencies of the Internal Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued extreme heat alert in Almaty region today.
"Mercury is expected to go up to 41°C in Almaty region," the committee said in a statement.
