External debt of banks down by USD 11.2 bln, or 40% over 11 months of 2010

ASTANA. January 18. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Over 11 months of 2010 external debt of the banks decreased by USD 11.2 bln, or 40 percent.
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Bissengaly Tadzhiyakov has made it public at the Government's session.
According to him, nowadays indebtness of the banks makes up USD 16.6 bln.
"It is important to note that the measures in the field of monetary regulation have promoted stable situation in the financial market", Bissengaly Tadzhiyakov stated.
