Extensive agenda of Ashgabad session of CIS Economic Council
MINSK. September 14. KAZINFORM The agenda of the CIS Economic Council session that will take place in Ashgabad on 14 September includes over 20 items, Andrei Savinykh, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, told media on 13 September.
The session is expected to table the fulfillment of the plan of top-priority measures to implement the concept for cooperation of the member states in power engineering. Participants of the session will also discuss the state of the securities markets, appropriations to create a united air defense system, and other things, BelTA reports.
Members of the CIS Economic Council will also discuss a draft plan of priority measures in the area of humanitarian cooperation in 2013-2014 and a concept of antiterrorism actions in railway transport.
The Belarusian delegation will be led by Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry will be represented by Ruslan Yesin, Deputy Head of the CIS and EurAsEC Office.
