Export of Kazakhstan's goods declined by 39.3% last year - Economy Minister

ASTANA. February 9. KAZINFORM. /Damir Baimanov/ Last year export of Kazakhstan's products decreased almost by 40%. Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov has informed about it at the Government's sitting today.
"Business decline in the world and reduction in demand for Kazakh products caused reduction in exports by 39.3 per cent", he noted. The import of goods reduced four times.
Due to reduced demand in the consumer sector retail trade turnover fell to 3.9%, in the sphere of transport - to 4%. However, high growth rates were seen in the sphere of communication services - 108.3%.
