Export forecasted to increase to USD 105.8 bln in 2016 - Kelimbetov
TANA. September 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Export is forecasted to increase from USD 75.7 bln in 2012 to USD 105.8 bln in 2016. Minister of Economic Development and Trade Kairat Kelimbetov has announced introducing the forecast of the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan for 2012-2016.
"The forecast of the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan for 2012-2016 is developed for implementation of goals and tasks set in the Strategic Development Plan of Kazakhstan till 2020 and instructions given by the President in the State-of-the-Nation Address and at the sitting on April 17, 2011," K.Kelimbetov said.
According to the forecast, the nominal GDP will make KZT 28.9 trln in 2012, and KZT 44.7 trln - in 2017.
Import will exceed USD 60 bln in 2016 increasing from USD 40.9 bln in 2012.
