EXPO green block in Astana to cover area of 100 ha
ASTANA. March 29. KAZINFORM It is expected that 'the green block' in the Kazakh capital will cover an area of one million square meters.
The Green Block ecological village is a pilot project related to preparation for the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.
According to Mukan Zholdassov, the Managing Director at "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund" JSC, the residential complex of the green block will cover the area of at least 300 thousand square meters. "The Astana local administration has already allotted nearly 100 ha for the project along Kurgaldzhin motorway," Mr. Zholdassov said in the Kazakh capital on Friday.
In his words, the sum of investments will be determined only after the feasibility study is made. Samruk-Kazyna and private investors are to finance the construction.
