EXPO-2017 may be held in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. September 9. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received General Secretary of the International Exhibitions Bureau Vicente Gonzalez Lossertales, the Presidential press service informs.
It was noted that our country met all standards and requirements needed for holding this international exhibition.
"Kazakhstan has everything which is required for holding the EXPO-2017. In particular, it is the development of the capital and the fact that Kazakhstan ratified the Kyoto Protocol. Besides, Kazakhstan is one of the leading countries in the sphere of energy industry and the agenda of the EXPO-2017 will be on new types of energy", the General Secretary said it at the briefing.
