EXPO 2017 facilities construction to begin in spring 2014
ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM - Construction of EXPO -2017 facilities will be started in spring 2014, according to the chairman of the Board of "Astana-Expo-2017'' National Company" JSC Talgat Yermegiyaev.
"We understand the responsibility because EXPO 2017 is the event of national scale. We, for our part, will do everything possible to perform EXPO 2017 at the highest level", said T. Yermegiyaev during the press conference on Expo 2017 preparation.
As noted by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rapil Zhoshybayev there have been created 10 working staffs to carry out EXPO 2017 preparation works. The staff under the national company "Astana-Expo-2017" is working on infrastructure development and construction of the international specialized exhibitions. Another staff acts on infrastructure enhancement and construction of the objects in the capital.
"There was also created a working group on foreign participation. The main task of the group is to work on the image of Kazakhstan, tourism development, attracting local and foreign exhibitors and visitors as well as", said R. Zhoshybayev.
