'EXPO-2017' facilities' construction to be launched in 2014
ASTANA. April 9. KAZINFORM Chairman of Board of "Astana EXPO-2017"JSC Talgat Yermegiyayev told about executed work and plans of forthcoming international exhibition scheduled for 2017 in Astana.
"Preparations are on fast forward. The first report will be presented in May of this year," T. Yermegiyayev noted.
"Astana EXPO-2017" Chairman informed that it was for the convenience of organizers to avoid demolition of existing structures but to use effectively the objects that will be built within EXPO.
"As for the building, first of all it is necessary to be in possession of a master plan, architectural and conceptual designs, feasibility studies, and construction documents. By the time it will last until the end of the year. Next year we will start only designing buildings. Perhaps we will divide it into stages, and I guess we have to start construction in late April or early May 2014, " T. Yermegiyayev concluded.
