EXPO-2017 event to create 20,000 new jobs in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Nearly 20,000 new jobs will be created within the framework of the EXPO-2017 event in Astana, Chairman of the Board of "NC "Astana EXPO-2017" JSC Talgat Yermegiyayev told a press conference on Friday.
"It is expected that nearly 20,000 people will be employed ahead and during the EXPO-2017 event in Kazakhstan's capital," Mr. Yermegiyayev said. According to him, nearly 1,000 people, mostly builders, are already working at the 174-ha construction site of the EXPO pavilion. A couple of companies have started to clear up the territory, relocate utility systems and replant trees. We are about to complete the first preparatory stage," he resumed.
