Explosion kills 2, wounds 52 in E. Afghanistan

KABUL. June 9. KAZINFORM. A bomb blast rocked Kunar province in east Afghanistan Tuesday, killing at least two persons and injuring 52 others, an official said, Xinhua reported; Kazinform refers to Trend News.

Witnesses, according to media report, claimed that the blast was near the convoy of U.S. troops. It is unclear who carried out the explosion while some civilians blamed one foreign soldier threw a grenade into the crowd as a response to tire burst of their vehicle; Kazinform cites Trend News.
