Expert: Introduction of visas with the CIS contrary to the idea of the Customs Union

ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM - The idea of a Russian visa with CIS is a pure populism. Such an opinion about this initiative of the government and the opposition has been expressed to Rosbalt by the director of the Migration Policy Institute Olga Gulina.
According to her, "We can not now introduce a visa, we do not need it, this is a purely populist measure". "What kind of visa we are saying about now, if we are talking about the creation of the Customs Union following the example of the European Union, which implies free movement of goods, services and labor?" she wonders.
Gulina is confident that "this is completely contrary to the political course of the country."
