Expenses on education and healthcare in Zhambyl region run high
ZHAMBYL REGION. November 5. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ Upon the results of 9 months of 2009 the budget of Zhambyl region executed by KZT 69.3 bln or 99.9% against forecast, the department of economy and budget planning of the regional akimat reports.
According to the specialists, the key priorities of budget funds application remain social expenditures that were increased 27% compared to corresponding period of 2008. Expenditures for education and healthcare increased 19% and 39% correspondingly.
KZT 31 bln of taxes was collected to the budget in January-September 2009 that is 97.3% against forecast and 26.1% more than in corresponding period last year. The national budget revenues are KZT 19.5 bln (95.2%), the local budget revenues are KZT 11.5 bln (101%).
