Expansion of coop with U.S.A. discussed in Atyrau
ATYRAU. May 11. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ A delegation of the US Embassy to Kazakhstan headed by Chargé d'Affaires John Ordway has visited Atyrau.
John Ordway and First Deputy Governor of Atyrau region Bolat Daukenov talked about the bilateral cooperation and prospects of expansion of business ties of the US companies with the region.
As B.Daukenov noted, today 42 enterprises with participation of the American capital are operating in Atyrau region.
"But we want you to invest not only in oil development, but in other sectors of economy as well. It could be important to invest in the projects aimed at environment's improvement which suffers from the intensive oil development," B.Daukenov said.
As John Ordway informed, a delegation of the American businessmen is expected in Atyrau region in June.
