Exhibition of gold of Kazakh nomads opens in Istanbul

ISTANBUL. October 21. KAZINFORM As part of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Turkey the central Istanbul Archaeology Museum hosts the exhibition of the "Golden Man" called "Gold of the ancient nomads and jewelry of Kazakhstan."

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Kemal Genc, ​​the leadership of Istanbul Mayor's Office, as well as representatives of the scientific and academic community, business community and the Turkish media.

Delivering the opening speech Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that the exhibition of the "Golden Man", which became a symbol of Kazakhstan, for the first time organized in Turkey, provides information about the history and culture of the Saki tribe, who lived in what is now Kazakhstan in V-VI centuries BC, which are a common value of the Turkic peoples.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Kemal Genc expressed gratitude for the opening of the exhibition and said that such cultural events serve to strengthen the cultural and information space between the two countries, expand relations and further develop cultural ties.

The exhibition will run for a month.
