Exhibition «History and culture of Saint Petersburg in graphics» taking place in Astana

ASTANA. November 14. KAZINFORM - These days to celebrate the Days of Saint Petersburg in Astana, the Palace of Peace and Accord hosts a thematic exhibition “History and culture of Saint Petersburg in graphics” formed of works by artists included in collector’s album for the 300th anniversary of Saint Petersburg. At the exhibition one can see works by such famous graphics masters as Vladimir Alekseev, Viktor Permyakov, Alexander Moskvichev, Evgeny Dubitsky, Rudolf Yakhnin, Evelina Solovyeva, and by young artists such as Mikhail Gavrichkov, Svetlana Zvonova and others.

On November 12-14 residents and guests of the capital can see such works as “The Catherine Palace” by Svetlana Zvonova, “View of Saint Isaac’s Cathedral” by Alexander Moskvichev, “Winter in Alexander Nevsky Lavra” by Alexander Shurayev, “Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Monastyrka river” by Evgeny Dubitsky. In total there will be 33 works by the best masters of pictorial art at the exhibition.

The works by the artists reflect architectural masterpieces and the mood of a city landscape, being united they bring the echo of spiritual life of the people and their history.
