Exhibition-fair of social projects held in Karaganda region
KARAGANDA. July 25. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ VI regional conference of the non-governmental organizations of the region was held in Karaganda.
Representatives of 150 NGOs from all regions of the republic, state bodies, deputies of maslikhats, and representatives of business community took part in the conference. The theme of the conference is "Partnership and cooperation of the Government and the institutes of the civil society - guarantee of effective realization of the antirecessionary measures".
Exhibition-fair of social projects was held within the conference. Upon the results of it partnership agreements between NGOs and enterprises were signed. Four projects that won the exhibition-fair were awarded diplomas and mini-grants.
Results of "The best NGO 2009" contest were summarized at the conference as well. 20 delegates to the coming Civil Forum of Kazakhstan were elected.
