Exhibition dedicated to Kazakhstani statesman to be held in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of outstanding public figure and Kazakhstani statesman Zhumabek Taneshev will be unveiled at the Palace of Independence in Astana today.
The event is organized by the Department of Culture of Astana city. It showcases his personal belongings, including photos, books, etc. Zhumabek Taneshev greatly contributed to preserve territorial integrity of Kazakhstan in the Soviet period. A street in Astana bears his name. The exhibition will run until March 25.
