Executive Secretary of Kazakh Foreign Ministry held range of meetings in Berne
ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM Meetings of Executive Secretary of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Rapil Zhoshybayev with the leadership of the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Defense of Switzerland were held in Berne, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres of the two countries and Kazakhstan' OSCE chairmanship and the chairmanship of Switzerland in the Council of Europe were discussed at the meetings.
The process of preparation and the agenda of the coming visit of Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev to Switzerland at the beginning of March were discussed as well.
The participants of the meetings expressed readiness to sign a range of agreements within the coming visit, including agreements on visa-free travels of citizens - owners of diplomatic passports, on readmission and on amendments to the Convention on Double Taxation Avoidance.
The Swiss side congratulated Kazakhstan on assumption to the chairmanship of the OSCE and assured that will support all initiatives of Kazakhstan within its chairmanship.
