Example of Kazakhstani people's unity in their readiness to help their nationals in hard situations - President
ASTANA. October 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Residents of the village Kyzylagash who suffered from the flood that hit the village are grateful to those who rendered all-round support and assistance during that tough time for them. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it today at the 16th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
The President reminded that this spring the village had been hit by the flood because of the debacle. Many people died, many lost everything they had. 'People of Kazakhstan responded and collected food, money and all necessary things to provide assistance to those who needed it the most', the President said.
According to him the members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan contributed KZT 47 mln from their own funds. A new children's sports school was constructed in the village thanks to this many. 'I was there and heard all those words of gratitude they said and now I am conveying them to you', the President noted.
'They also thank for the help in their letters they send to me. Heartiness of people of Kazakhstan is hard to overestimate they are compassionate and sympathetic', the Head of State emphasized.
The example of unity of people of Kazakhstan is in their readiness to help their nationals in hard situations, the President added.
