Ex-Shakhter Karagandy coach lands new job

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Former head coach of FC Shakhter Karagandy Viktor Kumykov will train Shymkent-based club Ordabasy, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
According to unofficial sources, the Russian coach has already signed the contract with the new team. Kumykov will replace Saulius Širmelis who brought the club to the 4th place in the Kazakhstan Football Championship in 2013-2014 season.
Previously Kumykov helmed FC Shakhter Karagandy, one of the most successful clubs in Kazakhstan's history. Kumykov's side even reached 2013-2014 UEFA Champions League play-off round.
