Ex-mayor of Karaganda rgn detained

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Ex-Mayor of Karaganda region Baurzhan Abdishev has been detained, said the chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Kairat Kozhamzharov.
According to available information, the ex-Mayor D. Abdishev suspected of abuse of power. Two criminal cases were opened. Recall that B. Abdishev was appointed Governor of Karaganda region in January 2013 and dismissed from the position in June 2014. He was replaced by Nurmukhambet Abdibekov who served as first deputy Mayor of Aktobe region.
