Ex-head of Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary sentenced to 12 years

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Ex-head of the National Company Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary JSC Gavyllatyp Murzakulov has been sentenced to 12 years in correctional colony of strict regime with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to occupy posts to perform state functions for the period of 7 years, the Astana specialized court said.
As earlier reported, he was detained on suspicion of bribery. The court found him guilty of committing crimes under Part 5, Article 311 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan, subsection b, Part 3, Article 193.
