European observers find no election violations

ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ European observers found no significant violations of election laws during the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan, member of the European Parliament Alexander Mirsky told journalists.
"We have visited four polling stations: none of us had any complaints. In general, we have a positive impression of Kazakhstan," he said.
Mirsky said he, as European Parliament member, came to Kazakhstan eight or nine times. He stressed he hardly knew other countries with the same complacency and good spirit among voters during polls.
