"Qatari, Norwegian and German experts will help preserve and study well-known Kazakhstani archeological monuments such as the Berel burial mound, the petroglyths within archeological landscape of Tamgaly, the ancient settlement Otyrar and many more," Minister Mukhamediuly told a weekly press conference at the Central Communications Service. In his words, a group of Norwegian scientists has already visited Kazakhstan several months ago to take DNA samples at ancient gravesites. "Results of the DNA tests have created a buzz in the European scientific community, because DNA samples of ancient Kazakhs and Europeans turned out to be absolutely identical. We expect that more European experts will come to Kazakhstan in the nearest future," the minister added.
