"The signing of the Treaty on establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) by Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus on May 29, 2014 was a historical milestone," Minister Idrissov said. In his words, amid global turbulence the economic integration is a natural phenomenon. Kazakhstan's economy needs access to new markets, there will be no more barriers for trade and investments. Erlan Idrissov noted that Armenia and Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EEU is underway. It is expected that Kyrgyzstan will become a full-fledged member of the trade bloc in May. He also stressed that Kazakhstan and all other EEU member states will get the maximum possible economic and other benefits from the integration structure.
