‘Eurasian Economic Integration’ International conference kicks off in Moscow
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - "Eurasian Economic Integration" International conference kicks off in Moscow.
The event is organized by the Eurasian Development Bank and dedicated to the most topical issues of the integration on the territory of the former Soviet Union. The conference has being attended by representatives of the authorities of states - members of the Customs Union, the Common Economic Space, the Eurasian Economic Commission, business and academic communities of the CIS, as well as foreign experts. Chairman of the EDB Igor Finogenov, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Ivanov, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Natalia Korzhova, deputy director of the EEC office of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Berik Umutbayev, and the Russian Presidential aide Sergey Glazyev are among the speakers of the event. The main purpose of the event is to find ways of further development of the Eurasian integration in the light of the Eurasian Economic Union. The conference's participants will discuss the main directions of cooperation in key sectors of economy, the formation of a common transport and energy infrastructure, unified framework for technical regulations, interrelated labor market and educational space. There will be also held discussions on possible areas of cooperation and interaction between the Eurasian Economic Community and the European Union, harmonization of labor and immigration laws, coordination of industrial and innovative enhancement.
