Eurasian Economic Commission expects completion of talks on Kazakhstan's accession to WTO in 2012
MOSCOW. April 11. KAZINFORM The pace of the process of Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization is rapid. This was stated by Trade Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission Andrei Slepnev today during a press conference in Moscow.
He noted that according to the agreements that have been adopted by the three countries of the Customs Union, the obligations taken by the first country joining the WTO, become part of the regulatory framework of the CU. "The process of Russia's joining the WTO has been closely coordinated with other members of the Customs Union, " he said.
"The process of Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization is rapid enough. We hope that this year the Kazakh colleagues will be able to complete negotiations. In this regard, we can provide appropriate assistance," A.Slepnev said.
