EurAsEC states likely to create specialized exchanges

SAINT-PETERSBURG. May 21. KAZINFORM. /Yelena Myagkova/ Full-scale development of the Eurasian Economic Community presupposes an opportunity of creation of specialized exchanges in the organization?s member states.

There was drafted a proposal on establishment of a grain exchange in the Russian Federation, a meat products exchange in Kazakhstan, a cotton exchange in Tajikistan; Kazinform refers to the Russian State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues. ?Stability of food markets development is a guarantee of the balanced domestic market in the EurAsEC member states and ensuring of physical access of population to foodstuffs?, Chairman of the Committee V. Denisov said. He noted that the World Grain Forum planned for June in Saint Petersburg will be devoted the issues of ensuring global food security, ways of easing the food crisis as well as national and international programs on promotion of agrarian sector.
