EU to grant anti-crisis 500 million euros loan to Ukraine

BRUSSELS. May 19. KAZINFORM The European Union will grant Ukraine with up to 500 million euros in an anti-crisis loan; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The European Parliament approved the loan on Tuesday. The money will be transferred within 30 months for the period of 15 years.
The loan is possible on condition of Ukrainian stability and support to structural reforms by the leading political forces, the European Parliament said.
The loan is another element of the European anti-crisis assistance to Ukraine, alongside the IMF support. The EU loan was sanctioned last year, but delayed because of political instability in Ukraine.
