EU president pays first official visit to Netherlands

ASTANA. January 6. KAZINFORM European Union (EU) president Herman Van Rompuy is to pay his first official visit to the Netherlands Wednesday, DPA reported; Kazinform refers to Trend News.
He is to meet with Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende, to discuss among others European economic developments. He would also meet the chairmen of the Netherlands' lower and upper houses of parliament; Kazinform has learnt from Trend News.
