EU President Herman Van Rompuy invites President Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Brussels

BRUSSELS. January 26. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ President of the European Union Herman Van Rompuy has invited Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Brussels, the capital of Europe.
He announced it at the meeting with OSCE Chairperson-in-office, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev.
Herman Van Rompuy expressed his support to the OSCE Summit initiated by the Kazakh President. The EU President emphasized the necessity of elaboration of a content and agenda of the forum.
There was noted that the EU considers Kazakhstan as one of the important states representing special interest for the EU.
